Frazada is Spanish for "rug". Traditional Peruvian Frazada's are still made in villages throughout highland areas, especially near Juliaca and Lake Tintieca. Woven from the wool of the alpaca using natural colours. The weave starts twice as long as the finished rug. This is the cut in half and stitched together to make the final size. Use as rugs, bedcovers and throws to give instant colour to a room.
